History
Insights & Solutions Consulting leverages the extensive experience and global perspective of its founder and managing director, Lisa McGregor. With 30+ years of experience working with USAID, RTI International, CARE International, International Rescue Committee and the United Nations Development Program, Lisa has lived and worked in 6 countries, provided short term support to more than 20, and traveled in many more. These experiences enriched her understanding of diverse cultural and local political landscapes. Her expertise includes applied political economy analysis, technical assessments, integrated governance across sectors, local organizational capacity development, strategic planning and meeting facilitation, and other technical approaches.

Founder and Managing Director
Lisa McGregor
Lisa McGregor is the Founder and Managing Director of Insights & Solutions Consulting where she leverages her extensive expertise in international development, integrated governance across sectors, applied political economy analysis (PEA), strategic planning and meeting facilitation, and related technical assessments. Lisa has supported technical teams to enhance outcomes in governance; gender equity and social inclusion; natural resource management; agriculture; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); health systems; public financial management and other areas.
Her career includes long-term technical and team management roles in Sudan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Bangladesh, and East Africa/Kenya and short-term assistance in 20+ countries with USAID, RTI International, CARE International, the International Rescue Committee, and the United Nations Development Program. She is a native English speaker with proficiency in spoken and written French and basic spoken Arabic. (She also spoke proficient Bangla and Thai while working in Bangladesh and Thailand.)
